Norwegian Wood

Vou me aventurar, de modo muito humilde, com uma música dos Beatles!! 

A canção Norwegian Wood, composta por John Lennon e co-autoria de McCartney foi lançada em 1965 sendo parte do album Rubber Soul.

The Scientist

A canção "The Scientist" foi composta em 2002 por todos os membros da banda britânica Coldplay. A música tem um arranjo todo em piano e eis que venho interpretá-la.

Ode to Joy (Ode à Alegria)

Eis que venho aqui publicar minha humilde interpretação de um dos maiores compositores de todos os tempos, Ludwing van Beethoven. "Ode à Alegria" é o nome dado ao quarto movimento da Nona Sinfonia, composição que data de 1824. É difícil acreditar que a obra foi composta quando Beethoven já não mais escutava, criou a com perfeição, mesmo jamais tendo a escutado, ao menos, não com os ouvidos. Não há como deixar de mencionar a execução da obra em 1989 pela Firlamônica de Berlim em comemoração a queda do muro. Isso sim é música, marca uma época e transcende por séculos e séculos. Viva Beethoven! Ah, não deixem de escutar a Nona Sinfonia completa!

Beauty and the Beast

"Beauty and the Beast",  foi uma das canções que fizeram parte da trilha sonora de um dos grandes sucessos de animação da Walt Disney Animation Studios. O filme, que leva o mesmo nome da canção, foi indicado em seis categorias do Oscar, sendo vencedor do de melhor canção original por conta da música aqui descrita e, também, o prêmio de melhor filme. A música ainda ganhou uma versão mais pop nas vozes de Celine Dion e Peabo Bryson.

Over the Rainbow

A canção Over the Rainbow foi escrita em 1939 como parte da trilha sonora do filme O Mágico de Oz. Desde então, ficou mundialmente conhecida e foi vencedora por diversas vezes dos mais aclamados prêmios de música. Over the Rainbow ganhou sua versão em português, intitulada de Além do Arco-Íris,  com interpretação da cantora Luiza Possi. E, não há como deixar de mencionar uma versão excelente na voz de Eric Clapton de quem sou muito fã.

"500 miles", música que faz parte do folclore norte americano e europeu. Foi gravada pela primeira vez em 1960 e ganhou versões nas vozes de grandes nomes, como: Johny Rivers, Elvis Presley, The Brothers Four e muitos outros.
